2017
The start at EAZYFIX
In 2017, I started working for Repair Care, the market leader in the Netherlands, UK, and Germany for professional solutions in timber restoration and maintenance. With over 30 years of experience, more than 70% of Dutch painters use our wood repair products.
In 2017, Repair Care launched a new brand called EAZYFIX, with a similar concept: offering the highest quality wood repair product, specifically designed for DIY use. I was fortunate to be involved from the very beginning, when the brand still needed to be established.
2018
Product photography
I took studio photographs of the products ahead of their introduction to the market. These photos were later used for the EAZYFIX webshop, online advertisements, and social media.
First repair videos
With the launch of the webshops in Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK, there was a clear need for video content to show customers how to properly use the wood fillers. I created several series of short tip videos and comprehensive step-by-step tutorials. Our online video content contributed significantly to high Trusted Shops customer satisfaction ratings.
2019
First DIY stores
In 2019, the products were introduced in 80 different DIY stores. I created brochures for customers, providing an overview of the brand and straightforward instructions on how to perform a wood rot repair.
2020
Displays for 160 stores
As we became more present in Dutch stores, we organized a store promotion. I created a display in collaboration with the Dutch company Holbox. They delivered a foldable 3D version of a window frame, which was very well received by store owners. In 2023, this display was still on several store counters.
2021
Happy customer
When creating video content, I like to keep things authentic. We received a lot of positive feedback from customers about our products. Rather than creating an advertorial video with an actor, I asked one of our most enthusiastic customers if I could film him while he worked with our products. This video is one of several from this project.
2022-2023
Viral video marketing
Since 2022, we have been heavily investing in our TikTok and Instagram channels to increase brand awareness across Europe. My goal was simple: go viral! I created short clips (20-40 seconds) showcasing satisfying time-lapses of wood repairs done with our products. This strategy proved highly effective, with 8 (out of 18) videos gaining more than 1 million views. In 2023, one video even reached over 300 million organic views across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook combined.

New YouTube strategy
In 2022, I teamed up with our sales advisor to create more personalized video content. It has become increasingly important to produce truly engaging content to effectively reach target audiences organically. To this end, we launched a series of online webinars and presenter-led videos for our YouTube channel.
588% growth on Amazon Germany
Over the past two years, I took responsibility for online sales in Germany. In cooperation with the Dutch company Boost Internet, we managed to generate over €20,000 per month in revenue with minimal advertising costs.
2024
Nationwide Availability at Hornbach
In 2024, the EAZYFIX range became available in Hornbach stores across Germany and the Netherlands. I designed all POS-materials, including this store display.
Top organic search rankings
In 2024, we achieved top video SEO rankings in the market, leading to a significant increase in video views, which surpassed both organic and paid traffic to our webshop. This traffic boost was a key driver of our online and offline success, as well as our excellent Trusted Shops scores.

Documentary Student project
The assignment was to make a documentary about a mysterious place. Our project members were all drawn to this area in Germany (Garzweiler), where the world’s largest brown coal mine was slowly destroying its surrounding villages. There were only a couple of families left, waiting for a new location to live.
Abandoned houses some of them still filled with furniture, showed us the anonymous memories of a once inhabited place.

After effects study assignment
There is no particular concept behind this video, since the purpose of this video was to learn something about animation. I remember having lot's of fun making the video. It is probably when I decided to learn more about video animation.

In 2023 I produced a 2+ hour podcast for newly weds, initiated by their friends. In addition I made a teaser video, which was shown during the wedding.
